Data Limitations

The UKE database reflects radio permits issued to operators, not actual network coverage or infrastructure ownership.

Polkomtel (Plus) shows significantly fewer registered stations compared to other operators. This is because:

  • In July 2021, Polkomtel sold their mobile tower infrastructure to Cellnex Group
  • Plus now operates primarily through leased infrastructure arrangements
  • Their actual 5G coverage (~3,700+ base stations serving 26 million people) is provided through infrastructure not directly registered under "POLKOMTEL Sp. z o.o."

T-Mobile and Orange share infrastructure through their NetWorkS! agreement, which is why they show similar station counts across most frequency bands.

The statistics shown represent registered radio permits per operator, which may differ from actual network coverage and service availability.
